Service Technician - Mountain States Toyota

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
• Complete repair orders clearly and efficiently, documenting all work performed
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain productivity and efficiency goals set by the service department
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
• Communicate with service advisors regarding recommended repairs and timelines
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Stay up to date with manufacturer training and certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of automotive technician experience, preferably in a franchised dealership environment
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills across a variety of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake systems
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer-specific certifications are preferred; willingness to pursue additional training and certifications required
• Ability to efficiently perform repairs while consistently meeting flat-rate productivity and quality standards
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, repair software, and dealership service systems
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction
