About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of automotive service equipment solutions, is looking for a Service Technician to add to their team. In this role, you'll start your day from home in a company-provided service truck and travel to customer locations to inspect, maintain, repair, and install automotive lifts, waste oil heating systems, air compressors, and other service equipment. You'll provide exceptional service to dealerships, repair shops, fleet garages, tire stores, and industrial customers throughout the region. To thrive in this role, you must be a mechanically inclined technician with experience in HVAC, industrial maintenance, automotive repair, plumbing, electrical systems, or heavy equipment. Automotive lift experience is a plus but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, service-focused organization with long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on automotive lifts, air compressors, piping, waste oil heating systems, fluid storage/handling systems, and other equipment
  • Conduct ALI-compliant lift inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
  • Install and commission automotive lifts and related equipment
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Replace and repair lift components
  • Test equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
  • Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status to customers
  • Maintain parts inventory, tools, and service vehicle
  • Complete service documentation accurately
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive repair, automotive lifts, heavy equipment, or related mechanical field required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required

Pay

$22.00 - $35.00/hour + Overtime + Benefits

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday – Friday. Local travel to customer sites throughout the service territory; you will start your day traveling in a company service truck to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.
