Service Technician
About the role
Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. They also serve as a technical resource for both customers and the sales force.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Rite-Hite products in Chambersburg and surrounding areas within PA from a service truck
- Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities
- Act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force
- Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment
- Be a primary customer contact
Requirements
- Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds
- Pre-employment drug test and clean driving record required
- DOT physical required
