Service Tech/Hybrid Driver with CDL (Hazmat/Tanker)

About the role

We’re looking for an outstanding Service Tech/Hybrid Driver to join our team at our Lovingston Plant. This hybrid role requires cross‑training in both service and fuel delivery. The ideal candidate has a real passion for customer service, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and holds a Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. Responsibilities

• Utilize technical skills to conduct service work, tank maintenance, and related tasks.
• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane and other fuel to and from specified destinations.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operate delivery truck following established safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the dispatcher to deliver exceptional service, plan routes, and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide outstanding “Tiger Way” customer service by supplying service information and answering questions.
• Complete required on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend emergency deliveries and responses.
• Ensure truck and associated equipment are clean and in good working order.
• Assist with plant maintenance and other tasks outside of heating season as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a CDL Class A or B license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
• Experience maneuvering in tight quarters and driving in snow, ice, and other adverse weather conditions.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, and carrying hoses/nozzles up to 50 lb.
• Good driving record with no major convictions.
• Effective verbal and written communication with dispatchers and customers.
• Ability to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes, and paperwork.
• Positive, “can‑do” attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and MVR check.

Pay

$24 to $26 per hour
