Service Tech / Handyman

About the role

Twenty29 Management oversees the operational management of California Hand Wash and is expanding to include additional businesses. California Hand Wash is a full-service hand car wash, featuring a conveyor driven tunnel hand wash, ceramic coating services and professional detail center. The position involves responding to service requests, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests from various locations.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and operational efficiency of equipment, facilities, and systems.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and schedule service tasks effectively.
• Aid in the installation, setup, and configuration of new equipment and IT systems.
• Provide technical support and assistance to staff members regarding equipment operation and IT-related issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

Pay

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
