Service Team Coordinator (remote) (Call Center)

About the role

The Service Team Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting patient scheduling, answering general inquiries, and managing service calls for ChenMed entities. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives and handles inbound and outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, sales, and general inquiries.
• Responds to patient inquiries using ChenMed's core model for care and follows up to ensure service satisfaction.
• Escalates issues and concerns appropriately and makes timely decisions based on department standards, procedures, and policies.
• Documents interactions using web-based technology and maintains business relationships by providing prompt and accurate service.
• Collaborates with team members across multiple departments to deliver VIP level customer service and manage patient interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned and modified by managers.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
• Experience with web-based customer relationship management systems.
• Experience with KPIs or metrics in a call center environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting, highly preferred.
• Must reside within the Continental United States and be willing to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 10% of the time.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
