About the role

The Service Team Coordinator plays a crucial role in patient scheduling and general inquiries, supporting ChenMed's mission to improve the health and well-being of seniors.

Responsibilities

  • Handles inbound and outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling and general inquiries.
  • Provides excellent customer service following ChenMed's core model for care.
  • Escalates issues and concerns appropriately.
  • Makes timely and informed decisions based on department standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Documents interactions using web-based technology.
  • Maintains business relationships through prompt and accurate service.
  • Collaborates with team members across multiple departments to deliver VIP level customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified by managers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Resides in the continental United States and within a state where ChenMed is established.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Creole, or Vietnamese is a plus.
  • Competent business acuity, exceptional verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and a passion for serving others.
  • Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
