About the role
The Service Team Coordinator plays a crucial role in patient scheduling and general inquiries, supporting ChenMed's mission to improve the health and well-being of seniors.
Responsibilities
- Handles inbound and outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling and general inquiries.
- Provides excellent customer service following ChenMed's core model for care.
- Escalates issues and concerns appropriately.
- Makes timely and informed decisions based on department standards, procedures, and policies.
- Documents interactions using web-based technology.
- Maintains business relationships through prompt and accurate service.
- Collaborates with team members across multiple departments to deliver VIP level customer service.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified by managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced medical office or healthcare setting.
- Resides in the continental United States and within a state where ChenMed is established.
- Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Creole, or Vietnamese is a plus.
- Competent business acuity, exceptional verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and a passion for serving others.
- Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
