Responsibilities
As a Service Supervisor, you’ll lead shop operations and ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient service delivery:
- Supervise and support a team of service technicians.
- Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity and quality goals are met.
- Coach and develop technicians through training, feedback, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate workflow with service advisors, parts, and management.
- Monitor job progress, timelines, and customer expectations.
- Support troubleshooting and technical guidance when needed.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting.
- Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
- Experience in heavy equipment service, preferably in a shop environment.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or lead technician experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and machine systems.
- Proven ability to manage and develop people.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and service software.
Pay
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00/year based on location, education, and experience.
