Service Supervisor Full Time

About the Role

Responsible for managing tire bay operations at the club level, including tire sales, proper installation and repairs of tires, supervising tire bay team members, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises tire bay team members and ensures a safe working environment while following all tire bay policies and procedures.
• Ensures proper scheduling and staffing within areas of responsibility.
• Oversees the proper installation of tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Installs, sells, and repairs tires; disposes of tires and fills propane tanks per club policy.
• Maintains and orders tire installation equipment; ensures safe and proper operation of tire bay equipment.
• Maintains a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandises tire displays and automotive products.
• Provides knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk; coordinates with Home Office regarding member tire needs.
• Maintains accurate and complete supply inventory; utilizes special-order tire programs.
• Monitors tire bay sales transactions and handles cash transactions when applicable.
• Complies with safety and cleanliness standards; manages tire bay audits and checklists.
• Oversees tire bay records retention policies and procedures.
• Ensures all TIA Certifications, Titan Certifications, and required trainings are completed timely for all tire bay team members.
• Builds working relationships with tire bay members; motivates and empowers team members to grow within the company.
• Completes and administers performance appraisals with each tire bay team member; provides clear, constructive communication.
• In Florida, must complete and hold a qualifier certification through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for overseeing retail propane operations.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Exhibits leadership through strategic thinking, sound decision-making, and effective communication to drive business results and support team member engagement.
• Leads teams to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including stocking, signage, cleanliness, and operational performance.
• Drives performance and profitability by analyzing key metrics, identifying trends, and correcting process breakdowns.
• Ensures service excellence, a safe environment, and adherence to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate).

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma and/or college degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of tires, batteries, propane tanks, and tire bay equipment.
• Prior tire installation and sales experience preferred; Level 400 certified technician preferred.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Demonstrates leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams and driving results.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
• Most of the time is spent standing and moving about continuously on hard surfaces.
• Frequent need to bend, climb, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach, move side to side, stoop, and climb ladders/step stools.
• Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting and moving heavy/awkward objects over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Job is usually performed surrounded by moving cars, machinery, and/or loud equipment that may require shouting to be heard.
• Occasional exposure to company-approved chemicals and cleaning agents, and strong smells.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.63 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
