Service Specialist I

About the role

Establishes and maintains effective relationships with patients, families, and caregivers as well as all PHS employees. Schedules and makes deliveries to patients' homes in a timely manner. Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions. Performs and instructs the initial set-up of oxygen and some DME. Performs data entry functions to log customer visits, conversations and follow-ups. Coordinates regular maintenance service to company vehicles. Assists with warehouse duties and equipment processing as needed. Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.

Responsibilities

• Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or (GED); or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Durable medical equipment (DME) experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.
• Warehouse and/or driving experience in the area is a plus.
• Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License (must have a clean record).
