Service Shop Manager

Responsibilities
- Grow labor sales through quality and efficient service and assembly of customer and store equipment (equipment may include bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, skis, hockey, baseball, golf, racquet sports, paintball markers, and other merchandise in a Scheels store)
- Ability to safely fill CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers
- Lead and continually teach/train all service shop tasks to all associates in the service shop
- Coordinate and adhere to a weekly delivery schedule to allow punctuality, ample time for customer questions, pre-inspection of delivery location and equipment, and to ensure proper equipment function
- Ensure safe and proper loading and transport of merchandise to be delivered
- Efficiently assemble service and/or deliver customer and store merchandise. This may include exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, safes, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles, and all other Scheels merchandise
- Troubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed records for store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks
- Execute quick and efficient ordering of parts and supplies while staying within designated budgets
- Ensure a clean and professional appearance of the Scheels delivery trucks and delivery area in your store
- Manage training and training schedules for all delivery associates

Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree(GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license and be an approved driver through DOT & Scheels driving standards and be at least 21 years of age.

Pay
Pay for this position starts at $23/HR.
Schedule
A combination of opening shifts and closing shifts with an every other weekend rotation required.
