Own communication Keep customers informed about appointments, next steps, progress, and resolution.Work closely with sales to understand customer expectations and outstanding commitments.Coordinate with the roofing project manager on installation concerns, corrective work, and project handoffs.Make sure technicians understand the problem they are being sent to address.Respond promptly and handle difficult conversations professionally. Coordinate quality control, repairs, and warranty work Schedule technicians to perform roofing quality control inspections, repairs, punch lists, and warranty evaluations.Review their findings, photos, and recommendations to establish next steps.Ask questions and obtain missing information before making decisions or closing an item.Coordinate solutions with production, sales, suppliers, or management as needed.Track unresolved issues through completion and identify recurring problems that need attention. Keep documentation accurate and current Maintain JobTread notes, schedules, assignments, customer communications, and completion records.Ensure technicians document what they found, what they completed, and what remains outstanding.Make sure every open item has a responsible person, next action, and follow-up date.Keep information accessible so the team can understand job status without relying on someone’s memory. Manage final check-offs and closeout Confirm that required inspections and corrective work have been completed.Review technician checklists and photo documentation, arranging additional verification when needed.Follow up with customers to confirm their concerns have been addressed.Coordinate with the office and sales team so completed work can move to final billing and project closeout. Experience What We’re Looking For Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong scheduling, organization, and follow-through.Experience managing technicians, field crews, service operations, or multiple active projects.Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and hold others accountable respectfully.Comfort using JobTread or similar software to manage assignments and document progress.A calm, professional approach to customer concerns and changing priorities.Roofing or exterior construction knowledge is strongly preferred. The ability to safely access roofs, inspect conditions, and troubleshoot alongside technicians would be a valuable added strength. The primary responsibility of this role is leading the team and managing communication, scheduling, and resolution.
