Service Porter | Forklift Operator

About the role

Our busy RV dealership needs a Lot Porter who will work with our sales department and can safely move large recreational vehicles around our property. Other duties include checking in units, show floor set up, and building maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

• Moves RV inventory of varying sizes safely around the dealership lot and in/out of service bays
• Maintains order of RV inventory, lot, and company property
• Provides support for service and sales functions as needed
• Uses mobile handheld devices to locate RVs, Boats, and Vehicles around the lot
• Communicates with customers, salesmen, technicians, service advisors, and other porters
• Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe work area
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have experience operating forklifts
• Must be comfortable driving RVs of every size and configuration
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Drivers license with a clean and insurable driving record required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Hand-Eye coordination
• Be able to bend, sit, kneel and reach
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
