Service Plumber

About the role

We are an employee-owned company with immediate full-time openings for a Plumber in the Southeast. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, or other public buildings.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste drainage systems.
• Install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls while collaborating with other trades and laborers to ensure compliance with all specifications, codes, laws, and policies.
• Ensure efficient completion of projects within scope of work in accordance with building codes and safety standards.
• Conduct business in accordance with PPC and MetroPower, Inc. mission and vision statements.
• Identify and eliminate hazardous conditions at the job site.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3 years’ experience as a plumber.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Familiarity with interpreting plumbing blueprints.

Total compensation is dependent on experience and knowledge.
