Service Plumber Apprentice

Position Overview

Aid the Journeyman or Master Plumber in replacing, installing, or repairing various plumbing fixtures and systems, diagnose and repair malfunctions, perform drain cleaning, and provide customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of service plumbing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Connecticut Apprentice Plumbing License preferred
• Technically minded
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficient in using tools such as plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels, and screwdrivers
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to follow instructions from the Journeyman or Master Plumber
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
