Service / Parts Department Driver

About the role

Mitchell Selig Ford is looking for a road warrior who enjoys driving. This full-time position interacts daily with Administrative Assistants, Managers, Customers, Vendors, and parts warehouses. We're looking for a motivated person to join our growing family — interest in the car industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts & equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors
• Pick up & drop off customers
• Exchange vehicles (dealership to dealership/auction)
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers' houses or places of business
• Lead yourself and the team in a way that supports our Company Vision and Mission
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning the vehicle to the dealership, and report any damage immediately
• Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles and goods to their destined locations
• Deliver important documents to our main office in Simsbury, CT and back to the dealership as required
• Daily trash runs to the back of the building
• Keeping wheel weights in stock for the service department

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles (helpful)

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm with an hour lunch each day.
