Responsibilities
- Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
- Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Assist with recruiting top talent for the service team.
- Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management and lead training meetings.
- Oversee the Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program.
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed courses of action, and empathetic service.
- Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services, and technology.
- Monitor scheduling, routing, and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity.
- Participate in community service projects that improve your local area.
Qualifications
- Sales experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
Work Environment
- Must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations, including:
- Safely using a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Safely accessing crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), which may require an OSHA-compliant respirator.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
