Service Manager Trainee

About the role

This position develops the knowledge and skills within a chosen discipline to advance within RDO Equipment Co. Through a 6–9 month Service Manager Trainee program, the trainee will rotate through temporary assignments in dealerships and Field Support Office departments, learning processes and procedures in Parts, Service, Sales, Management, and related areas. Upon successful completion, the trainee will transition into a role aligned with their talents, interests, and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through temporary assignments in dealership and Field Support Office departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of day-to-day duties and the importance of teamwork.
• Learn relationship development, sales skills, product knowledge, inventory management, and company computer systems, processes, and procedures.
• Coordinate, schedule, and manage Service Technician’s time while maintaining the work order process.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotes, job status, and scheduling.
• Perform special duties as requested by field management or department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Proactively participate in company-sponsored training to develop and advance skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, emphasizing teamwork and customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Pay

$28 – $34 / hour
