Role Overview
We are seeking a Service and Repair Team Leader to oversee operations at our Pump, Blower, and Vacuum Pump Service Centers. This role involves leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of service technicians and coordinators. Key responsibilities include managing service operations, ensuring safety standards, improving quality, and supporting customer relationships. The leader will monitor KPIs, optimize workflows, and collaborate with sales and management to drive business growth. Strong technical background, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills are essential. In-person role requiring organizational skills, safety program management, and physical ability to work in a shop environment.
About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service centers, ensuring that all activities align with company goals and objectives. The leader will also be responsible for managing a team of service technicians and coordinators, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their best performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage service operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Ensure safety standards are met and maintained
- Improve service quality through continuous improvement initiatives
- Support customer relationships by addressing issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with sales and management teams to drive business growth
Requirements
- Strong technical background in pump, blower, and vacuum systems
- Leadership experience, including supervising and mentoring teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to work in a shop environment, including lifting and moving equipment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, mechanical, etc.) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in service and repair operations
- Experience in managing a team of service technicians and coordinators
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Technical knowledge of pump, blower, and vacuum systems
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
