Job Summary

This position is responsible for management activities related to the service technicians, including; establishing department development plans for installation, service, and maintenance. Also responsible for following and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the company fulfills its contractual obligations for service repair, installations, and maintenance in accordance with profit objectives and directives. The Service Manager is the person that coordinates all of the activity between the office and the field. Any call center issues should be directed to the call center manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate Service Technicians and Installation Crew
• Work with Operations Manager to train, manage, and evaluating field technicians
• C Conduct ride-a-longs with technicians and provide feedback
• Ensure all repairs and installs are completed to the highest quality standards and if necessary, all permits are obtained
• Communicate and monitor goals
• Manage work load and schedules to best utilize manpower and maximizes profits
• Ensure technicians are being dispatched effectively, relaying any issues to the call center manager
• Assist technicians with issues while in the field
• Resolve customer issues or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction
• Ensure all team members comply with OSHA safety standards
• Work with Operations Manager to harness a safety culture
• Meet or exceed all company goals
• Maximize lead opportunities, retain and grow Club Membership clients (when applicable)
• Work with Operations Manager to review, approve new products and services (when approved by Owner)
• Perform clerical duties associated with, but not limited to, field technician paperwork, personnel evaluations, and expense reports
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Operations Manager
• Obey and teach the company Code of Ethics Team Rules and Team Philosophy

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of current code requirements
• Understanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the industry

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequent speaking, listening, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects
• Service center environment with moderate noise level
• Dress code is business casual
• ½ of your time will be in the field with technicians, ½ of your time will be in the office
