About the role
Build your career with Pye-Barker Fire and Safety, an industry-leading fire, life safety, and security company. This role involves developing and growing the Inspection and Day Works Department in your local area.
Responsibilities
- Set sales goals and build successful alliances with End Users, Property Managers & Business Associations.
- Develop and grow customer relationships to meet or exceed expectations.
- Lead customer presentations, “lunch and learns,” and other relationship-building meetings.
- Obtain new leads for new customers and provide quotations for inspections.
- Coordinate and manage service and inspection work in the Service Department.
- Project manage all service/inspection jobs, including tenant improvement projects.
- Manage the entire project from conception to completion, including scheduling, planning, inspection, quality control, and delivery.
- Track, forecast, and communicate project costs, profits, and financial measures.
- Organize and manage construction elements such as design, field labor, materials, equipment, supplies, utilities, and time.
- Support other Rapid-Fire Teams in initiatives relevant to your territory.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs of all communications.
- Send out inspection reports to customers, AHJs, and others as required.
- Assist in billing inspection and Day Work jobs according to office guidelines.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry in your region.
- Seek to understand the construction environment in your region and find labor sources.
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
- Develop strategies and plans aligned with short-term and long-term objectives.
Requirements
- Specific ITM Training or NICET Certifications.
- 5 years’ minimum experience in inspecting Sprinkler, Alarm, Extinguisher, and Backflow systems.
- Local and State Licenses.
- Attend yearly continuing education classes and courses.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and team-oriented individual.
- Certified to perform Sprinkler, Alarm, Backflow, and Extinguisher inspections.
