About This Role

We're on the hunt for a highly skilled Bike Shop Retail Service Manager who shares our passion for cycling and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do

Duties include:

  • Empowering service technicians to grow and develop their skills.
  • Fostering a positive and productive team environment through clear communication and goal-setting.
  • Ensuring the service team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to excel.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and follow-up.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service operations.

Requirements

Requirements include:

  • 2+ years of bicycle retail management experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in bicycle service.
  • High level of organizational ability; exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Enthusiastically embraces the concept of serving the customer and providing an exceptional retail experience.
  • Capable of safely lifting and carrying 25lbs on a regular basis.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Intrinsically self-motivated, positive, and friendly; able to work both independently and as a member of a team; and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience or knowledge in the following areas:

  • Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Bicycle Repair tools and techniques.
  • Training and Coaching/Development programs.
  • Sales Strategy formulation and execution.
