Responsibilities
- Hires, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of team members, ensuring established performance metrics and objectives are achieved.
- Anticipates customer’s needs, models excellent customer service, and empowers Associates to take ownership and resolve questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervises and ensures community common areas, grounds and vacant units are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards.
- Drives efficient and high-quality community maintenance operations by managing all work order completion, unit turnover processes, preventative maintenance, vendor and project coordination, inventory and purchasing/invoicing, ensuring accurate documentation in the appropriate operating platform.
- Drives team performance toward achieving and exceeding financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Oversees financial and operational compliance ensuring accuracy through regular audits, walks and discrepancy resolution.
- Performs field duties, including but not limited to, completing service appointments, unit turns, preventative maintenance, amenity cleaning and inspections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
- 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 608 (Core and Type II) certification required.
- Valid California driver’s license; maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.
- Ability to travel between communities daily and perform functions at multiple sites.
- After hours on-call support as needed.

The physical requirements for this position include:
- Below waist lift - 48 lbs.
- Below to above waist lift - 34 lbs.
- Push/pull (walking) - 60 lbs force.
- Ladder climbing - Occasional.
- Unilateral balance - Average of 20 seconds or more per leg.
Pay
Base Pay Start Rate: $39.57 per hour.
