About the role
The Service Lines Financial Analyst III is responsible for analyzing financial data related to service lines within the organization. This position involves preparing detailed reports, forecasting future financial trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data from various service lines to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Create and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and budgeting processes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and analysis on service line performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives across the organization.
- Support the implementation of new financial systems and processes as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare financial systems and regulations.
- Experience with healthcare-specific financial analysis tools and software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables.
- Experience with financial modeling software such as Cognos or Tableau.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
