Service Leader

The Opportunity

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well‑trained and provides good customer service. The leader keeps a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment, works on‑feet while clocked in, and when not busy evaluates other tasks and assists teammates.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great‑tasting, high‑quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety, including hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and related policies are followed.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash‑handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s “Food With Integrity” philosophy.
• Knowledge and experience with cash‑handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health‑department regulations.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Pay

Base pay range: $22.30 – $24.81 per hour, plus eligibility for digital tips. Actual pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and education.
