Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food preparation and service. You will train and support the restaurant crew, keep the line clean and organized, and assist with various operational tasks. This role requires you to be on your feet while clocked in, proactively identifying and completing tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served consistently.
• Resolve food quality issues and support food safety practices, including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, and adherence to the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Address and resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available for daily operations.

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with Food Safety and health department regulations.
• Experience with office paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior restaurant experience.
