Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served. You will also ensure the restaurant crew is well trained and provides excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized line with properly functioning equipment, and assist with various operational tasks. This position requires you to be on your feet while clocked in, unless on break, and to proactively assist with other tasks when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by:
  • Ensuring hand washing and glove changes
  • Monitoring time and temperature on the line
  • Monitoring secondary shelf lives
  • Completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist and following food safety policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with office administration duties, including:
  • Banking and cash handling policies
  • Office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
• Maintain proper quantity of supplies

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $18.80–$20.90 per hour, plus digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle also offers a competitive benefits package.
