Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you’ll maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served. You’ll oversee a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment and ensure the restaurant crew is well-trained and provides excellent customer service. This role requires you to be on your feet while clocked in, proactively assisting with tasks and supporting your team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served consistently
• Resolve food quality issues and support food safety practices, including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, and shelf-life tracking
• Complete the Daily Food Safety Checklist and follow all food safety policies and procedures
• Address and resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies as needed
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available at all times

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
• Familiarity with Food Safety and health department regulations
• Experience with office paperwork and administrative tasks
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $17.00–$18.91 per hour, plus digital tips. Actual pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle also offers a competitive benefits package.
