Service Leader

About the role

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. This position requires being on your feet while clocked in, unless on break, and assisting with tasks as needed when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues and support food safety practices, including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, secondary shelf lives, and compliance with the Daily Food Safety Checklist
• Address and resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies as necessary
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies is available

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $19.65–$21.86 per hour. This position is also eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education.
