Service Leader

About the role

Chipotle’s Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. This position maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment. Service Leaders are on their feet while clocked in, unless on break, and are expected to assist with other tasks when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies are followed
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
• Maintain proper quantity of supplies

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $19.05–$21.19 per hour. This position is also eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education.
