Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained to provide excellent customer service. You will keep the line clean and organized with properly functioning equipment. This role requires you to be on your feet while working, assist with various tasks when not busy, and support both food preparation and customer service efforts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served consistently.
• Resolve food quality issues and support food safety practices, including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, secondary shelf-life tracking, and completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Address and resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available at all times.

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with food safety and health department regulations.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior restaurant experience.

Pay

Base pay range: $19.65–$21.86 per hour, plus digital tips. Actual pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle also offers a competitive benefits package.
