Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained to provide excellent customer service. You will keep the line clean and organized, with properly functioning equipment. This role requires you to be on your feet while working, assisting with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, secondary shelf lives, and ensuring compliance with the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment is functional and order office supplies as needed
• Maintain proper quantity of supplies

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
• Familiarity with food safety and health department matters
• Experience with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $19.65–$21.86 per hour, plus digital tips. Actual pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle also offers a competitive benefits package.
