About the role
The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. This position requires being on your feet while clocked in, unless on break. When not busy, Service Leaders evaluate tasks that need completion and assist others with those tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
- Resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety by:
- Ensuring hand washing and glove changes
- Monitoring time and temperature on the line
- Monitoring secondary shelf lives
- Following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies
- Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
- Assist with crew performance reviews
- Develop future Service Leaders
- Assist with office administration duties, including:
- Banking and cash handling policies
- Office paperwork
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
- Ensure proper quantity of supplies is available
Requirements
- Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience

Pay
Below is the base pay range for this position, which is also eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
$19.65–$21.86 per hour
