Service Leader

About the role

Chipotle is changing the face of fast food by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients. The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, the restaurant crew is well trained, and good customer service is provided. The role requires being on your feet while clocked in unless on break, and assisting with tasks when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment
• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Help resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures are followed
• Help resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross train all front of house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and office supplies are ordered as necessary
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

$19.35–$21.53 per hour (base pay range; actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience and/or education). Eligible for digital tips.
