Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served. You’ll oversee a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment and ensure the restaurant crew is well-trained to provide excellent customer service. This role requires you to be on your feet while clocked in, proactively assisting with tasks when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served consistently.
• Resolve food quality issues and support food safety practices, including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, secondary shelf-life tracking, and completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Address and resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
• Handle office administration duties, including banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper quantities of supplies are available at all times.

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with food safety and health department regulations.
• Experience with office paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior restaurant experience.

Pay

Base pay range: $19.65–$21.86 per hour, plus digital tips. Actual pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle also offers a competitive benefits package.
