Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained to provide excellent customer service. You will keep the line clean and organized with properly functioning equipment. This role requires you to be on your feet while working, unless on break, and to assist with other tasks when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by:
  • Ensuring hand washing and glove changes
  • Monitoring time and temperature on the line
  • Monitoring secondary shelf lives
  • Following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and related policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew members
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including:
  • Banking and cash handling policies
  • Office paperwork
  • Ensuring office equipment remains functional
  • Ordering office supplies as needed
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience with cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $19.90–$22.15 per hour. This position is also eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle offers a competitive benefits package.
