About the role

The Service Leader at Chipotle is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality food, resolving food quality issues, supporting food safety, and assisting with customer incidents. They also manage the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, oversee crew breaks and shifts, and develop future leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served
  • Resolve food quality issues
  • Support food safety by ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist
  • Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • Assist with crew performance reviews and development
  • Perform miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
  • Ensure office equipment is in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary
  • Ensure proper quantities of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • A high school diploma
  • Restaurant experience

Qualifications

  • Understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • The knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • A high school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
