Service Leader

About the role

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. You will keep the line clean and organized with properly functioning equipment. This role requires you to be on your feet while working, unless on break, and to assist with other tasks when not busy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by:
  • Ensuring hand washing and glove changes
  • Monitoring time and temperature on the line
  • Monitoring secondary shelf lives
  • Following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties, including:
  • Banking and cash handling policies
  • Office paperwork
  • Maintaining office equipment and ordering supplies
• Ensure proper quantity of supplies is available

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $18.80–$20.90 per hour. This position is also eligible for digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education.
