Service Leader

About the role

Chipotle Service Leaders maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. This position requires being on your feet while clocked in, maintaining a clean and organized line, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
• Resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist is followed
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Handle office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and office paperwork
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
• Maintain proper quantity of supplies

Requirements

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

Base pay range: $19.05–$21.19 per hour, plus digital tips. Actual base pay may vary depending on skill level, experience, and education.
