About the role
The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. This role maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities require being on your feet while clocked in, unless on break. When not busy, you are expected to evaluate and assist with other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
- Help resolve food quality issues
- Support food safety, including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, secondary shelf lives, and completing the Daily Food Safety Checklist
- Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew
- Assist with crew performance reviews
- Develop future Service Leaders
- Handle office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as needed
- Maintain proper quantity of supplies
Requirements
- Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
- Familiarity with office paperwork
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- High school diploma
- Restaurant experience
