About the Role
MSX International is seeking Subject Matter Experts to support Field Service Development Managers in assigned regions. This role focuses on implementing service strategies to enhance dealership performance, customer satisfaction, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Implement service strategies with dealership personnel to grow business, increase profitability, and improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Train and monitor dealers on service lane processes, including Service Workbench (SWB) and Online Service Scheduling (OSS).
- Assist dealers in reducing LOF/MPVI cycle times to under an hour.
- Meet defined metric goals for assigned dealers within a geographic area.
- Track and report metric progress of assigned dealers.
- Evaluate new candidates for service strategy implementation.
- Ensure dealer processes gather local competitive data.
- Integrate Business Development Center (BDC) service departments.
- Interface with District Sales, Service, Parts, and Zone management to ensure cross-communication of process changes and improvement opportunities.
- Share best practices, success stories, and analysis techniques via the SDM forum.
- Complete special assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous automotive experience, with 1 year in fixed operations or equivalent.
- Strong rapport-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Creative problem-solving and “out-of-the-box” thinking.
- Ability to overcome objections and obstacles.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to small groups.
- Knowledge of automotive dealership department interactions.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Confidence, assertiveness, and high energy in a selling environment.
- Sales experience in products and services is valuable.
- Familiarity with dealership service tools (e.g., Service Workbench, Service Edge, Xtime service scheduling) and Dealership Management Systems (DMS).
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $45k to $54k based on experience.
Schedule
Position requires 90% travel time.
