Service Island Attendant

Requirements

• Must be over 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Must be able to work in, and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
• Must pass a favorable background check
• Must pass a physical examination

Skills

• Customer service
• Handle basic maintenance, repairs, and cleaning
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during shift

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled and fluids topped, ready for service
• Clean vehicle interiors according to the contract
• Ensure vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional
• Park vehicles according to the facility parking plan
• Document and communicate any fleet damage to the manager
• Maintain and clean the fuel island; immediately contain and report any spills to the manager
• Maintain work area according to all OSHA and EPA regulations
• Clean and mop shop area; dispose of trash daily
• Clean and care for landscaping and lot as needed
• Post notices in vehicles as required by client
• Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed

Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, a favorable background check, and a physical examination.
