About the Role

Part-time Utilities Worker position subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement with a pay scale of $19.47 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide detail cleaning of interior and exterior of vehicles
• Perform daily facility janitorial maintenance at the local transit facility, including but not limited to:
  • Mopping, sweeping
  • Replenishing restroom supplies, breakrooms, office spaces, lobby area, and exterior bus lot
• Park and move buses as directed
• Report any maintenance issues to Supervisor
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason)
• Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

• Less than 10% of work is performed indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities; greater than 90% of work is performed in an open garage facility
• Performs physical activities requiring considerable use of arms, repetitive hand-wrist motion, legs, and whole-body movement (e.g., climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials)
• May be required to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals; safety protective gear is provided
