Service Employee

About the Role

Transdev in Savannah, GA is hiring a Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Pay

Competitive compensation package ranging from $20.53 (Non CDL) to $27.39 (CDL Holder) per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles (interior and exterior)
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles safely within the facility and designated areas
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and accurately log and record all fluid levels and usage
• Download drive camera footage and probe fare boxes as required
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, entering data, and using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to support daily operations
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the ability to perform routine clerical and data entry tasks
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
• Must comply with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40, which does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
• Generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors
