About the Role

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a Service Dispatcher to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our service department. This critical role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong technical aptitude, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level and workload to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Monitor repair order progress and provide follow-up on repair status to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Offer technical support to the shop as needed, assisting technicians in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Track shop production metrics to ensure targets are being met and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee shop training schedules to ensure technicians are up to date with manufacturer certifications and skills.
• Review repair orders to ensure proper documentation aligns with manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Assist service advisors and service managers with various daily tasks to support department operations.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Technical knowledge of automotive repairs and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with technicians, advisors, and managers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a service dispatcher role or similar position is preferred.
