Service Dispatcher

About the role

We are looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our Northwood team. This is a key role within our service department, responsible for keeping technicians efficiently scheduled, customers informed and daily service activity moving forward. Candidates with HVAC industry experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage and adjust daily schedules for Service Technicians
• Dispatch technicians as service calls are completed
• Coordinate return visits with customers when parts become available
• Keep customer information accurate and up to date in the database
• Communicate scheduling and requested lead times clearly with customers and internal teams
• Keep department managers and employees informed of scheduling changes
• Provide customers with timely updates on service schedules and expected lead times
• Balance changing priorities while keeping technicians and customers on track

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, customer service or project management preferred
• Working knowledge of the HVAC industry is a plus
• 3+ years of dispatching experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced service environment
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay

$26–$28 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
