About the role
The High Volume New Car Dealer with 5 franchises is actively seeking a Service Department Director.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department.
- Manage a team of service technicians and support staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement service department policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain service department performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service processes.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in automotive service or related field.
- Strong management skills, including team building and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices.
- Experience with service department operations and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
