The Service Development Representative at our 22-bed Behavioral Health Hospital is a vital role in improving the quality of life for mental health patients. Located in Mansfield, Many, DeRidder, Leesville, Oakdale, Alexandria, Ball Natchitoches, Winnfield, or Jena.
About the Role
This role implements business and marketing plans within an assigned territory, conducts pre-admission screenings, and serves as a liaison between referral sources and the Hospital. The representative also assists patients and families in identifying appropriate care alternatives and promotes mental health prevention awareness.
Responsibilities
- Collects information from referring professionals or facilities and meets with potential patients for pre-admission screenings.
- Serves as a liaison between referral sources and the Hospital, submitting information to the Intake Department for admission eligibility determination.
- Aids patients and families in identifying appropriate care alternatives and communicates pre-screening results and recommendations.
- Develops positive relationships with community resources and professional networks to ensure a seamless continuum of care and maintain strong collaborative partnerships.
- Works to improve the overall quality of life for mental health patients referred to the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare sales, service development, or the medical industry.
- Proven experience in marketing, sales, customer service, or clinical education.
- Experience using mobile tools and applications.
- Ability to consistently meet and exceed performance goals.
- Proficiency with tablets and smartphones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing preferred, or business development experience with a healthcare focus.
- No specific licenses required.
