Service Detail Lead - AutoNation Honda Tucson Auto Mall

The Service Detail Lead is responsible for work allocation, supervision and training of a team of detail technicians to assure efficient and productive team performance. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Schedule and assign daily work objectives for the service detail techniciansMonitor performance and counsel service detail technicians with behavioral or performance issuesTrain, coach, supervise and assist the service detail techniciansMaintain a safe and efficient shop area that is free of hazardsMaintain an objective assessment of each service detail technician's training, skills and abilitiesWith the assistance of the service consultant and service manager, chart the performance of each service detail technicianCoordinate ongoing training for the service detail technicians and maintain a log of the completed training and certifications receivedMaintain a schedule of the service detail technician absences for training, vacation or personal reasons to assure proper staffing to meet work demandsConduct team meetings with the service consultants and service detail technicians to assess prior day performance and review work assignments for the day What are the requirements for this job?
