Service Desk Analyst II
About the role
The Service Desk Analyst II position is part of the IT Organization at Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, a limited partnership operating in the midstream natural gas and natural gas liquids industry. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role serves as the first point of contact for end users regarding IT service issues and requests.
Responsibilities
- Record details of reported IT service issues, service requests, and work to restore service as quickly as possible or escalate to the appropriate support groups.
- Participate in a 24/7 On-Call rotation.
- Provide technical troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- 5-7 years minimum in-depth, hands-on support role on IT Service Desk or customer support environment.
- Experience in working with desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) and Office suite.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with incident tracking software.
- Experience with the latest versions of Windows Client OS and Microsoft Office Suites.
- Experience providing Mobile device support.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory & Azure.
- Familiarity with the Energy industry.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred.
